Weekly update - Post 10

This week I managed to do my on set photoshoot with Layla, Layla was the perfect model for my photoshoot as her aittre matched my magazine genre very well. Layla wore a very bright red lipstick to stand out on my images. this worked very well, we used props such as a gutair & drummer chair this gave off a very rock vibe and helped my images to connect with my text on my magazine.Some of my images are very roll 'n' roll having Layla jump with her gutair shows she's 'carefree' and isnt worried about anything. Although Layla is a great model the colours of her lipstick and the guatiar didn't match the colours of my magazine as it was a faded green/blue. so i decided to make a big change to my magazine and change the magazine main colour to red. I think i have made the right choice as the images now connect and stand out. i have added gold to the the magazine as well as it is such a bold outstanding colour and connects with red & black in my magazine. next week I plan to complete my article and take some offset images for my contents page. I also have another model Alex. he is helping fill my contents page with images besides Layla as a magazine always has more than one feature.

Magazine Evaluation Survey

I have created a survey for my magazine. i created this survey because i wanted  get people's opinions on what they thought anout my magazine template. i have done this with the rough sketch of my magazine because i can make tweeks and changes to it after i get my feedback and before I have to hand in my final work.  I shall get people mixed genre age 16-19 as this is who my magazine are targeted at and would be helpful to know they're prospective on my magazine eg the colours, images, text, fonts. asking questions like how eye catching are the fonts. do they stand out? etc.
